Proudly standing as the only truly authentic French delicatessen in the city, Chez Roger sprang from our deep love for exceptional French produce and our heartfelt desire to share it with our adopted home. 

Right from the start, our aim was simple: to offer a genuine slice of France, a carefully chosen collection of treasures you simply won't stumble upon anywhere else in Edinburgh.

Our Story: A Franco-Scottish Dream

It all began with a simple yearning: to share the incredible flavours of our native France with the wonderful people of Edinburgh. 

As a French couple who fell head over heels for this magnificent city, we longed to create a place – unrivalled in Edinburgh – where you could discover the genuine taste of our home, the very products that stir memories of our roots and traditions. 

On the 1st of October 2019, our dream blossomed as we opened our shop, a space we lovingly crafted and decorated ourselves, a warm invitation into our own world, brimming with the finest France has to offer.
