This ready-to-eat dish from Ferrigno brings together delicate sardines and escabèche: a deliciously sweet-sour sauce originally created to preserve meat and fish. The result is a tangy and flavourful dish that’s as good cold as it is hot.
These “sardines a l’escabeche” can be eaten as part of a tapas spread or apéritif. For a simple meal that’s as tasty as it is easy to prepare, heat them through and serve with rice.

Ingredients: Sardines (Sardina pilchardus) 65%, water, alcohol vinegar, sunflower oil, onions, tomato paste, spices and aromatic plants, salt, thickener: guar gum.
