Made in the Basque region of France by artisan producer, Loreztia.
This jam is cooked using a traditional recipe and is simmered over eight hours on a low heat in copper cauldrons.
 This low-sugar jam has no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives and is suitable for vegetarians.
Ingredients: Whole black cherries, cane sugar, honey, lemon and pectin.
Try using this jam whilst baking a cake or gateau, or you might like to consider pairing it with a Basque sheeps cheese such as Ossau-Iraty.
Producing in small batches, using locally-sourced fruit, Loreztia pride themselves on using only the finest quality cherries to make their jam.
Expect a deep and sweet candied flavour with hints of caramel.
